Looking for Salon and Spa Bundles
3/25/2015

If you’ve ever looked for treatments at a day spa, you may have seen bundles where if you sign up for a wrap, a massage, and some time in the steam room, you can save a little bit of money. These bundles are used in just about every industry. If you call your cable provider for an issue, chances are they’re going to try to convince you into upgrading to a bundle—cable, internet, and phone service all for one low monthly price! But that price is probably double or triple what you’re paying now.

While some bundles really aren’t that great of a value, some are. That bundle at the spa? If you were going to get all of those services done anyway, you can save some money. The same goes for a salon. Maybe your hairstylist will offer you a cut, color, and style for a little cheaper than if you paid for each one separately. If that’s what you want, then that’s great. If it’s not, you can always turn down the offer and go for your usual cut.

Bundles can be a great way to try something for the first time because you do get it at a discount. Say you only wanted to get a cut and a style. If the coloring is only a little more, you might decide to give it a try. If the spa offers you 30 minutes in the steam room for half the cost if you get it in the bundle with that massage and wrap you were really there for, it might be worth it to see if you like steam rooms. Bundles are usually a good discount, and best of all, they’re completely optional. If you want to try something new or were going to get all of the things in the bundle to start with, you save money. If not, you can pass.
