Unique Types of Facials

There are a lot of different types of facials you can get at a day spa. A mud or oatmeal facial is fairly common, but what about something a little bit out of the ordinary? There are some spas that are trying out some different things. Some simply give you a healthy glow by removing the dirt and dead skin cells off your face, but others do more. Here are a few of these interesting and unique types of facials.

A caviar facial sounds expensive and really over the top, but it’s also very effective. It’s one of the more expensive treatments, naturally, but it can help revitalize the skin and provide a number of healthy benefits. It can help reduce the signs of aging and improve the overall look of the face.

Oxygen facials are also something a little different. Instead of using different creams, the spa uses a special blower to blow oxygen against the face. This type of facial is actually very good for those with very sensitive skin because some creams and masques are a little too heavy for them.

A sonoran rose facial adds a compound of roses and other special oils to the skin. It’s often used on the hands and feet in addition to the face. This special type of skin treatment makes use of Vitamin A and Vitamin E to help revitalize the skin. It can help even out skin tones and make hands and feet feel softer.

Want something really different? How about a coffeeberry yoga facial? This unique type of facial involves using a fruit of the coffee plant. It’s used in a special mask that includes antioxidants and other nutrients that help tighten, refresh, and brighten the skin. You won’t find it on the menu at very many spas, but if you do, it’s worth trying it out.
