The half halo features a braid of hair that goes across the upper front of your face. It’s a half-hairdo: half of your hair is up, while the other half is left down in the back. The braid gives it a very different look, but it doesn’t really work for some. It’s also likely to be covered up if you’re wearing a full veil.

For the bride who wants a style that’s playful and harks back to the Renaissance, the side braid is a great look. It’s particularly popular with those doing a Medieval wedding since it can be accented with a tiara, circlet, or a ring of flowers.
Finally, there’s the pinned back chignon. This look is simple yet elegant and gorgeous. It’s perfect for those with long or slender necks or for brides who want to show off every inch of their wedding dress. All of your hair is up, so it won’t cover the back, and it can be the perfect style to accent with a headpiece.
