Portsmouth, Virginia – The Buff & File Nail Bar has opened in downtown Portsmouth, a one-of-a-kind nail salon, boasting a clean ambiance along with natural light and minimal lines.
The nail salon owners Andree Van Oss and Alex Sirois, have renovated the space, retained the black and white tiles that served as a trademark of the previous occupants, the Clip Joint. Van Oss said they liked the effects of the tiles, considering as an inspiration to both of them.
The current design and layout of their nail bar is not only functional, but also relaxing and welcoming. The two owners have become very good friends since Sirois’ boyfriend introduced them. Sirois emphasized they felt a real need for a one-of-a-kind nail salon downtown.
Sirois has been an experienced nail technician for 12 years, worked in Greenland, and will act as the hands-on manager for the newly-opened nail bar. On the other hand, Van Oss was previously a graphic designer at The Music Hall for ten years, but will serve as the creative director in the salon.
The owners recommended their clients to arrange appointments, although they will still accommodate walk-ins. Appointments can be made through phone calls or be booked by online. The nail bar will offer 8 nail technicians, including Sirois.
The one-of-a-kind nail salon will provide full, express services s well as luxury treatments. They could likewise accommodate private parties.
