You’ve got a major event coming up. Maybe it’s your wedding or the wedding of a close friend and you’re in the bridal party. Maybe it’s a huge work presentation that will be done in front of hundreds of professionals or for the board of your company. Maybe you’re speaking on television. Whatever the reason, you want to look absolutely amazing. You’re sure to go to a professional hairstylist for your hair, so shouldn’t you also go to a professional makeup artist to have your makeup done? Of course you should.
Many women are experts at doing their own everyday makeup. They can use just about any reflective surface to perfectly apply their lipstick, mascara, and other products. But there’s a different in doing your everyday makeup and doing special makeup for a major event. Looking in a mirror isn’t quite the same as looking and working on someone’s face directly. That’s why a makeup artist can often do a better job than you can do with just a mirror.

There’s something about makeup that has been applied by a professional. It looks just a little better, a bit more flawless, than even the best makeup a person puts on themselves. When you’re speaking to important people or to a large group, you want that look.
