The Benefits of a Blow Out
1/27/2015

If you’ve never been to a blowout salon, you don’t know what you’re missing. These salons, sometimes called blow dry bars, are run by hairstylists who don’t actually wash or cut your hair. Instead, they blow it out and style it. But why pay for this when you could do it at home?

There are a number of benefits to a blow out. By having an expert do your hair, you’re almost guaranteed to look amazing. Part of that is because it’s easier to work on someone else’s hair than it is your own. The stylist can see every angle of your hair, move around as necessary, and doesn’t have to try to reach around or use a mirror to see the back of your head. All of this makes it much easier to style your hair.

It’s also a nice way to give yourself a little bit of pampering. This is especially true if you’re getting your blow out before work. You can take a moment to relax and prepare yourself for the work day.

A good blow out will last you several days if you don’t wash your hair (and most stylists recommend only washing your hair every few days). This means you can get a blow out on Monday, have amazing hair for several days, and then wear it up or in a braid for a few days before the weekend.

They’re a good way of keeping your hair looking good on a regular basis without going to a lot of expense. Most blow out bars aren’t that pricy, especially for the quick treatment. Many women are starting to consider a blow out to be a weekly treat that keeps their hair looking fresh longer. This is especially true for those in marketing, television, and other professions where they interact with the public on a regular basis.
